His laser-like focus on developing a career in drawing monsters and silly comics began early, spending much of his childhood shunning human contact in favour of comics and spent most of his spare time doodling and writing stories.
Following a jolly stint in the education system, Huw became a chartered accountant.
It shortly became apparent that drawing monsters and developing elaborate toilet-based puns were not the primary skills required of an NHS Financial Manager, and in 2009, Huw was belched out like Jonah of old from the whale of corporate finance onto the beach of self-employment as a freelance cartoonist.
A beach upon which he frolics to this day, making books, comics and illustrations for kids and kid-brained grown-ups.
