Ha Ha Cnec!

Dw i’n hapus iawn i gyhoeddi fy mod i’n gweithio ar lyfr ar gyfer Diwrnod y Llyfr 2021 - sef Ha Ha Cnec! Bydd y llyfr ar gael am dim ond £1, neu am ddim gyda voucher arbennig.

Gofynnodd y Cyngor Llyfrau i mi wneud llyfr oedd yn aeddfed, synhwyrol ac yn llawn o wersi moesol pwysig i’r genhedlaeth nesaf. Meddwl mod i ar y ffordd cywir.

Ble Mae Boc? Ar Goll yn y Chwedlau

Llyfr newydd sbon wedi ei gyhoeddi gan Y Lolfa - cyfle i chwilio am y ddraig fach hoffus eto - y tro yma trwy bydoedd chwedlonol Cymru. Roedd hwn yn lot fawr o hwyl (a gwaith!), a thrwy’r cyfnod o ymbellhau cymdeithasol, roedd hi’n ryfed i arlunio torfeydd o bobl wedi gwasgu mewn gyda’i gilydd.

Prynwch gopi yn y siop!

A new book of mine, published by Y Lolfa - which will be released in 2021 as Find the Dragon: Lost in Legends. Buy a copy in the shop!

Y Ddinas Uchel

This is a Welsh-language picturebook I wrote and illustrated in 2019, published by Atebol books. It tells the story of a girl living in a city of towers, which is constantly being added to by the people living there. The little girl starts to wonder why everyone else spend all their time building their towers ever taller, and her search for answers leads her on an adventure.

The story began, as most of my stories do, as doodles in a sketchbook, years ago. As drawing these weird organic sandstone-type towers became a bit of a compulsion, I figured I should try to find a story to inhabit the city, and this book is the end result.

I hope to publish it in English too - do get in touch if you’d like to see that happen.

UPDATE as of 24th March 2020, Y Ddinas Uchel was nominated on the shortlist of the 2020 Tir Na n’og childrens book prize.
