It seems that someone somewhere takes notice of my little North Stand strips. Here’s last Sunday’s (20/11/11) strip:

As a welsh rugby fan, I can assure all my readers that I am thoroughly enjoying every second of this monumental implosion of English rugby. I apologise if this makes me a horrible person.

2012 North Stand Rugby Calendars

…are some quotes that may well be made about the 2012 North Stand calendar once people get their hands on them. Be one of the first and buy today!

There will be a very limited print run this year, as I’m off to India on the 9th of December, so get your orders in well before then. Great present idea for rugby-loving family and friends.

You’ll notice that the calendars are an inflation-busting £1 cheaper than last year…hopefully makes up for the dodgy dates in last year’s edition. This one’s been triple-checked, I promise!

Inspired by a quote from England flanker Tom Croft claiming that under-fire manager Martin Johnson should not be axed beacause he’s “A great figurehead for England rugby”, I whipped up this editorial cartoon for the Rugby Paper this week, along with the usual North Stand.

Batman Wedding?

I was asked to produce some wedding stationery for a wedding recently, the majority of which were fairly standard order of service/menu/table plan bits ‘n’ bobs. However, the happy couple (well, one of them) had decided to name the wedding banquet tables after Batman villains. I had to whip up a way of identifying the tables that wouldn’t clash with the otherwise classy and understated style of the table settings. So I designed these little placeholders, which seemed to do the job:
